I can't believe they are still showing this on the news. We killed 1 terrorist, there's thousands more. I'm sure someone is going to take his place...?

As I said before it's been drilled into our heads for ages and to finally get the guy behind it all it has to be worth decent ratings right? :P
And his death is kind of significant since he inherited I think they said somewhere between millions to hundreds of millions from...parents...I can't remember the details. :P He had lots of money so maybe we cut some funding? XD

I got one simple argument to the conspiracy theorists...

If you're gonna say you've killed someone when you haven't, you would not do it to someone, whom for the past few decades, has made a name for himself by killing thousands and then BROADCASTING CONFESSION VIDEOS to hundreds of countries. I think even the US officials are smart enough to figure out he could just post a "...nnnaaahhhhhh I'm still here actually" video to his Myspace vlog.

The only way I can see is that the military may perhaps be doing some unorthodox interrogation, in which case he still wouldn't be let go at the end of it... and that's a longshot.

Either way, ding dong the witch is dead.

Conspiracy theorists need new a new hobby. I feel like everyone, conspiracy theorists or not, blows everything out of proportion and need to just chill out and have a BBQ.

Sad thing is, killing Osama does very little. It destroys an important figurehead for the organization, sure, but at what cost.

I was thinking about it for awhile, and it really seems the US played right into his hands (because really, a group like that doesn't just destroy a couple buildings for shits and giggles). And then, bam. Right on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia...._qaeda#Strategy

Everything I was worried about. And it looks like Osama's plan is working to a T so far. So what has the US really accomplished, over 1 trillion dollars later? Blaaaah...

Now we're probably just more likely to face a terrorist attack.
The celebrations were ridiculous, I'm embarrassed to be living in the same country as people like that, and to have a media that praises it is even worse.

Yeah agreed. I mean, it could be a good stride to eventually... ending the war, with the supposed torture/killing of Osama.
But like Byz said, I don't see the point in spending all that money destroying a rebuilding on a war that has been dragged out for 10+ years. When it could be put to much better use by means of healthcare, possibly curing poverty, etc.
I feel like Osama being dead is like the first of many to come. Hate breeds hate. When you kill someone, the other party wants revenge. Not sure what exactly started the whole Osama rise to power, hate Americans ordeal, but it's a cycle that's got to stop.

And with all the conspiracy theories, the Trade Center, etc. I think it's pretty stupid, it's like ignoring what really happened. Similar to some dumbass people who say there was no Holocaust. When people were there and actually experienced it, going through that trauma, then having someone say you're full of shit, just blows my mind.
But, until the government shows proof that he's dead, you can't really be too sure. For all we know, "throwing him into the ocean" could mean torture.
And who's to say he wasn't the mastermind behind the whole thing? There was some movie that was like that heh.
